Alberta’s (Wild Rose Country) Ukrainian musicians have been performing for many years. To the early days of Dan Chomlaks’s Ukrainian hour shows there has been an array of great performers. Alberta musicians have always been known for their great ability to produce down to earth foot stompin Ukrainian music. The fiddlers, the dulcimer players, the horn players, accordion, drummers, guitarist and the vocalist have all contributed to the traditional sounds that make the wild rose country performers stand out amongst all of western Canada’s Ukrainian artists.
